  • Fluminense suffered their fifth defeat in the Brazilian Championship.

Felipe Melo’s aggressiveness

The episode starring Felipe Melo occurred after the goal scored by Mateo Zuleta, from Atlético-GO, in the added time of the second half.

A press officer from the Dragão was celebrating the goal when he was pushed by the Fluminense player. The journalist even fell onto the Maracanã pitch.

At the end of Atlético-GO’s 2-1 victory, the incident sparked a general commotion on the field. Fluminense players claim the professional was provoking the Tricolor substitutes after the comeback.

Deyverson issues the challenge

The next day, bothered by Felipe Melo’s attitude, Cuiabá striker Deyverson posted a video on Instagram wearing boxing gloves with the Rocky Balboa soundtrack in the background.

Felipe Melo was not the only one

During the Tricolor defeat, Felipe Melo was not the only Fluminense player to lose his temper on the field. Before him, Guga had a violent attitude at Maracanã.

Although he did not enter the field, the right-back received a yellow card warning after getting upset with the refereeing.

At that moment, while being filmed by a Globo cameraman, Guga slapped the camera and almost assaulted the professional.
