Brazil has moved up in the latest update of the FIFA women’s world ranking ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics. The Seleção Feminina, which was in tenth place, now appears ninth with 1,948.87 points in the ranking presented on June 14.

It was a great start to the month for the team, which defeated Jamaica 4-0 in two friendly matches. Another factor contributing to this rise is the setback of the Netherlands, who dropped to eleventh with 1,936.12 points after a win and a draw against Finland in the women’s Euro qualifiers.
