The Vitor Roque saga continues. Since his arrival at Barcelona in January, the Brazilian forward has struggled to find his place, and his days in Catalonia appear to be numbered. Even though he’s still officially part of the squad, the striker doesn’t seem to be in Hansi Flick’s plans.

“Tigrinho,” signed from Athletico Paranaense by recommendation of Deco, did not play a single minute in the defeat against AS Monaco in the Joan Gamper Trophy. This absence further fuels speculation that his future lies far from Spain—and possibly in the Premier League.

According to Sky Sports, Everton have made an offer to Barcelona to land the striker. The proposal is reportedly worth €25 million, plus an additional €3 million in add-ons. However, the Blaugrana board is reportedly holding out for a fee between €30 million and €35 million.

Meanwhile, Marca reports that Barcelona’s front office has informed Roque’s agent, André Cury, of their decision to either sell or loan out the forward during this transfer window.

Barcelona need to reduce its wage bill to comply with LaLiga regulations, making Roque’s departure a convenient solution. The 19-year-old has made just 14 appearances and scored two goals since joining the club.
