Vitor Roque seems to have his days numbered in Barcelona, where they are looking to part ways with the forward just months after signing him from Athletico Paranaense. While the Spanish club is already seeking his exit, one of the teams that has shown the most interest in the player is Neymar’s Al Hilal.
However, the 19-year-old has no intention of making this move in his career. According to Catalan outlet Sport, Roque and his entourage have rejected the offer from the Saudi giants. Instead, “Tigrinho” is looking to earn his place at Barça now that Hansi Flick has taken charge.

Having had limited opportunities since his arrival in Spain, Roque hopes that the departure of Xavi Hernández will bring a new chance to prove himself with the blaugrana team. The club, however, needs to reduce its wage bill to comply with LaLiga’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
Barcelona have reportedly valued Roque at 40 million euros to recoup what they invested in him at the beginning of the year. However, without Al Hilal’s option, it is more likely that if he leaves, it will be on loan.
Lazio and Porto appear to be leading the race to acquire the forward, although other Spanish clubs have also been linked with Roque.
Meanwhile, the former Cruzeiro player hopes to impress Flick, but Barça is already starting to sideline him. For instance, the number 19 jersey he wore last term has already been handed over to Lamine Yamal.
