Tigrinho had his first great night in the Old Continent in the recent La Liga match between FC Barcelona and CA Osasuna. The Brazilian, who stood out in Athletico Paranaense but started his path at Cruzeiro, came on as a substitute around the 62nd minute of the match at a time when Barça urgently needed a goal. Less than a minute later, he connected an exceptional header after a magical three-finger cross from Joao Cancelo and scored the definitive 1-0 against the Navarrese team, an important and historic goal, as he joined a special list.

Vitor Roque and Arthur Melo scored their first goal for Barça against CA Osasuna
With his goal against CA Osasuna, Vitor Roque joined the list of players who scored their first goal wearing the Blaugrana shirt against this same opponent.
As FC Barcelona explains on its official website, since 2017, a total of seven players have managed to score their first goal for the first team of Barça precisely against this opponent.
Vitor Roque was just the latest to join this list, which also includes names like Javier Mascherano, Ansu Fati, Arthur Melo, and Ez Abdé.
For some reason, CA Osasuna has served as the perfect grinding stone for seven Barça players in recent years. In 2024, Roque scored the aforementioned goal that served to take home three crucial points.
A couple of years ago, in 2021, Nico González and Abde Ezzalzouli scored their first goal wearing the Blaugrana shirt against CA Osasuna in a league match that ended in a 2-2 draw.
That same year, but in a match corresponding to the 2020/2021 season, Ilaix Moriba scored his first goal for Barça after a pass from Lionel Messi, scoring one of the two goals in the 0-2 victory against the rojillo team.
In the 2019/2020 season, Ansu Fati, the promise who seemed poised to take over from Lionel Messi, began writing his first pages in his exciting start with Barça by scoring his first goal against Osasuna as well. In that same match, Arthur Melo also scored his first goal wearing the Blaugrana shirt.
But the player who started this chain is one who scored his first and only goal wearing the Blaugrana shirt against Osasuna in 2017: Javier Mascherano. The Argentine scored from the penalty spot, knowing that he was already playing his last matches with the Blaugrana squad. His teammates allowed him to take the shot so he could leave the club with a goal at the Camp Nou.
