Vinicius Junior is the only Brazilian representative in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season. His presence is not a surprise, considering he performed at an incredible level throughout the tournament – Vini recorded seven goals and five assists in 12 games for Real Madrid.
After scoring the game-winning goal in last season’s final, the winger once again showed his ability to show up in big games by netting a brace vs. Liverpool in the round of 16 and finding the net in the semi-finals against eventual champions Manchester City.
