According to Football Insider, Tottenham are interested on Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz, currently at Aston Villa. North London rivals Arsenal are also said to be monitoring the 25-year-old, who has previously played for Manchester City. The Gunners’ interest dates back to last summer.
Tyler Adams could be the key to unlock Luiz’s departure as the American is said to be on the Villans’ radr. With the 2023-24 season drawing nearer, Unai Emery has other interesting options in the middle of the park with John McGinn, Bar Kamara, Youri Tielemans and Jacob Ramsey.

Douglas Luiz’s great career at Aston Villa
Douglas Luiz played a key role in the 2022-2023 season, making 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists to help Aston Villa qualify for the UEFA Conference League.
Under contract until June 2026 after agreeing on an extension last summer, the Brazilian midfielder has established himself at Villa Park since arriving from Manchester City in 2019, making a total of 151 appearances for the Birmingham-based club.
