Richarlison took a big step in his career by leaving Everton for Tottenham in 2022. However, the Brazilian striker has yet to live up to the expectations that were around him the day he joined the north London side. In his first season, he scored just one goal in 27 Premier League appearances.
At 26, the América-MG product still has time to turn the narrative around. But so far, he left much to be desired with Spurs. Richarlison admits he has to prove his worth at his current club, but he couldn’t hide that he dreams of playing for Real Madrid at some point.

Richarlison reveals dream of playing for Real Madrid
“Of course, Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world and every player wants to wear their shirt,” Richarlison said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano. “But I have a club, a contract — I have to prove why Tottenham bought me for a high price. But any player dreams of playing for Real Madrid”.
Richarlison is still under contract at Tottenham until 2027. Besides, the club forked out €58 million to get him only a year ago. Therefore, it’ safe to say Real Madrid won’t be knocking on his door anytime soon. Unless he suddenly turns up his level, the Brazilian striker will probably have to work hard and wait for this kind of opportunity.
