In the 2021-2022 season, Richarlison has not had a successful season for his English team Everton. Nonetheless, he has attracted the interest of several major European football teams. The 24-year-old striker has only scored seven goals in 27 appearances for his team this season. Although, he played well for the Brazilian squad, where he has coach Tite’s faith, scoring three goals in two games. However, his success at the English club might cost him a World Cup berth, since he is no longer a priority in the Brazilian coach’s decisions, subject to injuries and other factors.
According to a report on the English website “90 minutes,” the striker may quit his club in the middle of the year to ensure his participation in the World Cup, which will be held in Qatar between November and December this year. In the middle of last year, the “Pombo” – as he is called – had his name linked with Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of the Spanish club, led Everton from 2019 to 2021 and is very familiar with the Brazilian striker.

Everton are reportedly planning a bid for the Brazilian striker, like they did for Richarlison, according to recent reports from Portuguese publication “A Bola.” Cebolinha’s release clause is €150 million (about R$760 million), therefore getting him out of Benfica will be difficult.
Richarlison, who was born in Nova Venécia in Esprito Santo’s interior, is in his first irregular season with Everton. After fantastic periods at América-MG (2015), Fluminense (2016 to 2017), and Watford (2017 to 2018), he came at the prestigious English football club.
