Brazil have talented players in pretty much every important football league in the world. Every year, they supply different talents to the best clubs in Europe. However, it looks like their current strikers aren’t appreciated enough when it comes to their market value.

According to Transfermarkt, there’s only one Brazilian among the top 10 most valuable number 9s on the planet. That player is Gabriel Jesus, who enjoyed a great start to life at Arsenal after moving to north London last year from Manchester City.

Gabriel Jesus, the most valuable Brazilian striker

Jesus, who moved to the Old Continent as a teenager from Palmeiras, has settled in perfectly at Mikel Arteta’s team, playing a pivotal role in their return to UEFA Champions League football. Despite an injury sustained during the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the 26-year-old managed to keep up a great level throughout the season and therefore his stock is still high.

The aforementioned site claims his market value is €75 million, making him the seventh most valuable striker in the world, tied with Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus. This is Transfermarkt’s list with the 10 most expensive strikers right now:
