Matheus Cunha was on target again this weekend, helping Wolves rescue a point against Nottingham Forest at Molineux Stadium. The visitors had taken the lead thanks to Harry Toffolo after 14 minutes, but just after the half hour mark, the Brazilian put things level.
The former Atletico Madrid forward extended his good run of form, with three goals and two assists in the last five games. Cunha now boasts five Premier League goals this season, though this goal was his first one at home this term. Even so, the 24-year-old made it clear his team wasn’t satisfied with the draw.

Matheus Cunha knows Wolves can do better
“We are a little bit frustrated because we really wanted to win this game,” Cunha said, via the team’s website. “Of course, getting three points in the Premier League is not easy, but it was still a little bit hard for us to take that we only got one point when we wanted three points. We always play well at the Molineux, but we need to keep going and I hope we can keep improving.”

“I’m very happy to be here, and to keep this form. I’m very happy with the staff, with this group, but it’s like that,” he continued. “I always understand my position, I always know he has the best for me, he always talks with me, and he wants to me to be free and I enjoy a lot to play like that, so I can help the group and help myself. I think we can show this on the pitch, and I’m very happy and I’m very proud with the things I’m starting to do. I enjoy a lot to play in the Premier League and at Wolves.”
