Matheus Cunha played a pivotal role in Wolverhampton’s 4-2 away win against Chelsea in the Premier League. The 24-year-old stole the show at Stamford Bridge by scoring a hat-trick to help his side claim all three points, reaching nine goals and seven assists in the current season.
The Brazilian also got in the history books by becoming just the fourth player to score a hat-trick for an away team at Stamford Bridge in a Premier League fixture. The other players who achieved this feat are Nwankwo Kanu with Arsenal in 1999, Robin van Persie with Arsenal in 2011, and Sergio Agüero with Manchester City in 2016.

The result put Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino under heavy fire, as his job might be on the line due to the team’s poor performance following a multimillion-dollar investment in signings during the summer.
