Fullham have one of the oldest and best-located stadiums in England. Craven Cottage was founded in 1896 on the banks of the River Thames in London and has since maintained its traditional structure, which is about to change with an addition that promises to offer a unique experience for watching a live match.

The team of Brazilians Willian, Rodrigo Muniz, and Andreas Pereira announced the details of a project called “The Riverside” that will add a pool, luxury restaurants, bars, and a terrace to the venue. It is a phased initiative, which began construction in 2019 and is expected to be completed by December.

“It will be a place like no other, a game-changer for Fulham Football Club, our neighborhood, and all of London,” said president Shahid Khan. “Contemporary designs and top-notch hospitality lounges on matchdays are being incorporated,” highlighted the project’s website.

The restaurants promise to have chefs awarded with Michelin stars. All with large windows to see the Thames coast, the river that runs through the English capital and one of the most famous in the world.

The landscape can also be enjoyed from the terrace, perhaps the most curious sector of the project. In addition to places to eat and watch live matches, a pool will be built there as part of the unique experience promised by the initiative.

Fullham are currently 12th in the Premier League, far from relegation places and European spots as well. In the last four matches, they have improved their performance, with three wins and one loss.
