Gabriel Martinelli rose to stardom under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal. The Brazilian winger, who joined the Gunners in 2019 from Ituano, has made his way up the pecking order until establishing himself as a pivotal member of the starting eleven at the Emirates Stadium.

The 22-year-old, who was called up by Tite for the last FIFA World Cup in Qatar, comes from a breakout season in north London. His impressive rise explains why he made the cut for the PFA Young Player Award, which is voted for by fellow footballers.
