Most players set to participate in international competitions will postpone any decisions regarding their club future. However, the case of Bruno Guimarães might be different, as the midfielder has until June 24 for his release clause to be activated.
According to Globo Esporte, until that date, the midfielder has the possibility to leave Newcastle if another team offers £100 million. After the 24th, any interested parties will have to reach an agreement with the Magpies to secure the midfielder.

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain appear to be the most concrete suitors, but only the French team seems to have the funds to carry out the operation.
Guimarães’ contract, which runs until 2028, includes the release clause at the player’s request, as it is not a mandatory condition in the Premier League. The amount does not necessarily have to be paid upfront, and whoever triggers the clause could pay it in up to three installments.
