After several attempts, it looks like Rangers got their man. According to Dutch outlet AD, the Scottish giants have finally reached an agreement with Feyenoord to sign the Brazilian striker for nearly £5 million plus add-ons, with the player believed to put pen to paper on a five-year deal
While this would be a huge step forward for the 24-year-old in terms of salary – he would make £39k a week – it’s also an interesting challenge for Danilo as he’s expected to have more playing time in Ibrox. Besides, the club made it clear it was keen on signing him.

Danilo’s path to Scotland
Rangers reportedly had three offers rejected by the Dutch giants before finally reaching an agreement in their fourth attempt. Danilo arrives on time for the team’s debut in the 2023-24 Premiership season against Kilmarnock on August 5.
The young forward started his career at Corinthians’ academy, but bounced around different Brazilian clubs (Ponte Preta, Vasco da Gama, Santos) before joining Ajax as a teenager. He spent time on loan at Twente before returning to Amsterdam in 2020, but only a year later, he joined Feyenoord.
