Tanque arrived in South Korea in January 2023 and since then has been the offensive reference in the team’s attack. In this one and a half years in Korean lands, he has played 52 matches, scoring 15 goals and providing 6 assists, having a direct participation of 0.4 goals per game. The center forward spoke about the K-League and projected the match this Wednesday, for the quarterfinals of the Korean Cup, a competition in which they reached the semifinals last season.
“The K-League is a very competitive league and every point is extremely important. We now have a decision in the quarterfinals of the Korean Cup and we need to win again to get closer to our goal, which is always to win titles,” added the center forward.
In the 2024 season, Yuri has 4 goals and 2 assists. The match for the quarterfinals of the Korean Cup, this Wednesday, will be against Gimpo Citizen FC, from K-League 2. The ball will roll at 7am (Brasilia time).

Born in the city of Porangatu, in the interior of Goiás, and raised in Nova Era, in the interior of Minas Gerais, Yuri has gone through the youth categories of Cruzeiro, Atlético and Ponte Preta-SP. Professionally, he has played for Coimbra, Ganiare Tottori (Japan), Ferroviária-SP, Leixões (Portugal), Capivariano-SP and Guarani-SP.
