The women’s World Cup will put Brazil back among the countries with the main sporting events. The World Cup is ours!

Brazil will host the 2027 Women’s World Cup. The green and yellow campaign defeated the European one formed by Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands at the FIFA Congress, held in the early hours of this Friday (17th), in Bangkok (Thailand), by 119 to 78.

The victory will put Brazil back on the route of the biggest sporting events after the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Brazilian bid

The Brazilian bid, led by the CBF and with the support of the Federal Government, was based on six pillars: economic, social and environmental sustainability, sports development, women’s leadership in the football ecosystem, women’s rights and consumption potential.

Under the slogan “A Natural Choice”, the Brazilian campaign prevailed over the Europeans due to the experience and infrastructure inherited from the 2014 men’s World Cup and the guarantees offered by the Federal Government.

Historic events

The confirmation of the Women’s World Cup once again places Brazil on the radar of major sporting events.
