Brazilian fans don’t even know how to feel after the third consecutive loss, this time at home against their biggest rivals.
The game at Maracanã showed how many mistakes have been made since the Qatar World Cup, specially regarding planning.
Ramon Menezes started the year, then Fernando Diniz had to work for the national team and Fluminense under the promise that Carlo Ancelotti will leave Real Madrid next season.

Brazilian players seemed to not care, whereas the Argentine crew tried to intervene and stop the violence — even though Dibu Martínez almost went to the stands to confront one policeman.
The thing is that Brazilian players seem to not feel what happens. They lose and they do not care. They win, which is very hard as of now, and it does not make a difference as well.
I have always been an advocate that we have a talented generation, with good young players that are performing in the best leagues of the world. I still think we do.
But talent, as is ever enforced, is not everything. And we lack the rest. Off the field, we lack organization and planning. On the field, we need to want to win.
Many players of this generation were still kids when Brazil on its 5th World Cup. Some were not even born. Maybe they are accustomed to since the national team fail. I hope they are not.
I hardly know if Brazil will improve. For me, 2023 seems like a big test and we failed it. The next official game is only at the Copa América, in the middle of the year, which supposedly will be Ancelotti’s debut.
Brazil will be on the 2026 World Cup. There’s no doubt about it.
