Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund face each other in the grand final of the UEFA Champions League. The final will take place this Saturday (1st), starting at 4pm (Brasilia time), at Wembley Stadium in England.
Real Madrid reaches the Champions League final for the eighteenth time in history. The Spanish club is the record holder in terms of appearances in the competition’s finals and will count on Brazilians like Vini Jr and Rodrygo on the field.

What is the record between the two clubs?
- In total, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid have faced each other 14 times in history, all in the UEFA Champions League;
- There were 6 victories for the Merengues, against three for the Aurinegros and five draws;
- In knockout stages, the two teams had three confrontations, with two qualifications for Real Madrid and one for Borussia Dortmund.
Match officiating team
Slavko Vinčić will be the official referee for the final. Tomaž Klančnik and Andraž Kovačič will be the assistant referees and the fourth official will be François Letexier.
Vinčić is 44 years old and will officiate his second European club final. The first opportunity was in 2022, in the Europa League final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers.
The Slovenian has been an international football referee since 2010.

Details of the final
The final on next Saturday will be played in a single match on neutral ground. In case of a tie at the end of normal time, the final will go to extra time. If the equality persists, the winner will be decided on penalties.
Brazilians who can be champions
Borussia Dortmund does not have any Brazilian players in their current squad. Real Madrid, on the other hand, has Éder Militão, Vinicius Tobias, Rodrygo and Vinícius Júnior.
