Corinthians is the big name in Brazilian women’s football and holds a true dynasty in the sport in South America.
The “Brabas” have been leading women’s football in recent years, and since the sport was reactivated at the club in 2016, the women have won at least one national or continental title per season.
In just under eight years after the return of women’s football, Corinthians has already won 18 titles. The most recent one was the Supercopa do Brasil – in February 2024. The first conquest was the Copa do Brasil in 2016 when Timão partnered with Audax.

Brabas’ Titles
Corinthians is the clear leader in the ranking of clubs with the most titles in Brazilian women’s football. Since reactivating the sport, Timão has already lifted 18 trophies, ranging from the Campeonato Paulista to the Libertadores.
The most recent tournament was the Supercopa do Brasil in 2024, held in February. In the final, the “Brabas” defeated Cruzeiro 1-0 at Neo Química Arena. The match drew a crowd of 33,175 fans, the seventh largest attendance in women’s football in South America for club and national team matches.
Irreproachable last year
Lifting trophies was a common occurrence for Corinthians’ players in 2023. The alvinegro women’s team won four titles in the same season, setting a record for achievements in one year.
Under the guidance of coach Arthur Elias, who left Timão at the end of the year to take over the Brazilian national team, Timão won the Campeonato Paulista, Copa Libertadores, Brasileirão, and Supercopa do Brasil.

Despite Corinthians’ dominance in Brazilian women’s football, other clubs have also been national champions.
In addition to Timão, Ferroviária-SP (2014 and 2019), Centro Olímpico-SP (2013), Rio Preto-SP (2015), Flamengo (2016), and Santos (2017) have stood on the podium as top teams in Brazil.
