Not only did he score two goals against Bolivia, but he also set a new record in becoming the top scorer in Brazilian history, surpassing Pelé according to FIFA rankings. He also gave an assist to Marquinhos in the 1-0 victory against Peru.
He played the full 90-minutes in the first game and was subbed out only in overtime in the second one.
Now, eyes turn to this Friday (September 15) as expectations are high for Neymar’s first official match with Al Hilal. The Saudi club currently lead the Saudi League with 13 points from five matches and will hope to maintain their dominant position in their clash against Al Riyadh.
