In Brazil, failure is not a word that is taken very lightly. In a country with so much history at the football level, one defeat is a catastrophe and two in a row, not to mention. Therefore, it is difficult to find consecutive negative results in the extensive match history of the Brazilian National Team.
However, currently, the Amarelinha is experiencing a turbulent time under the command of Fernando Diniz and against Colombia they suffered a historic setback, as they lost two consecutive Qualifiers matches for the first time in their history. However, this is only for qualifying rounds, since in its long history the national team has suffered consecutive defeats.
Therefore, the question that brings us to this article is: When was the last time that the Brazilian National Team lost two consecutive games in official competitions?

Brazil had not lost two consecutive official matches since 2014
To find another recent result of this style, we must go back to July 2014, the date on which the semifinals of the World Cup in Brazil were played.
The national team received Germany at home at the Mineirão Stadium in Belo Horizonte. In that venue, Brazil would receive the biggest defeat in its entire history, falling 1-7 to the eventual world champion.
After falling in the semifinals, Brazil had to face the Netherlands at the Mané Garrincha National Stadium to determine third place in the World Cup tournament. Felipão’s team would end up losing 0-3 against A Clockwork Orange, this being the last time Brazil lost two consecutive games in an official competition. However, it is by no means the only one.
