The CONMEBOL Libertadores is reaching its crucial stages. The stakes will be higher than ever this week with the group stage finale, in which many Brazilian teams aim to book their ticket to the knockout stages.
Athletico Paranaense and Palmeiras have already sealed a place in the next round, which is why the only thing they’ll be playing for is to finish first in their respective groups. Corinthians have already been eliminated, but the other clubs from Brazil can still advance to the round of 16.

What every Brazilian team needs to advance in the Libertadores
Group A: Flamengo
The Mengao only need a draw with Aucas or Racing to avoid defeat against Ñublense. A victory could even see Flamengo finish atop the group, depending on the result in Argentina.
Group B: Internacional
A Nacional win against Metropolitanos would force Internacional to beat Independiente Medellin, a result that would also see them win the group. A draw would be enough for the Porto Alegre side as long as the Uruguayans don’t win, while an away win by the Venezuelan team would send Inter to the next round.
Group C: Palmeiras
The Verdao will take on Bolivar with first place of Group C up for grabs.

Group D: Fluminense
A draw would be enough for Fluminense, who would also clinch the top spot unless River Plate put six goals past The Strongest. A defeat, however, could knock Fernando Diniz’s men out.
Group G: Athletico Paranaense and Atletico Mineiro
Athletico Paranaense would win the group with a victory against Alianza Lima, though they could finish first even if they lose, depending on the result between Atletico Mineiro and Libertad. El Galo, meanwhile, only need a draw or to lose by just one goal to advance.
