West Ham United have completed the signing of highly-rated Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras. The 18-year-old prodigy will officially join the Hammers when the summer transfer window opens on Friday, June 14th, pending the completion of international clearance and a work permit.

Guilherme is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in South American football. Despite his tender age, he has already racked up an impressive 40 senior appearances for Palmeiras, helping the club clinch the Brazilian Série A title. The youngster has also gained valuable experience in the prestigious Copa Libertadores and represented Brazil at the Under-20 international level.
