Vitor Roque’s impressive year
The former Cruzeiro player got off to a fantastic start to the year, first stealing the show in the South American U-20 championship, in which he finished as top scorer with six goals to help Brazil win the tournament unbeaten. In March, he made his senior debut for the national team against Morocco, becoming the youngest player to represent the country since Ronaldo.

Roque had already become a regular for Paranaense in 2022, but it’s this season that he’s making a name for himself. The young striker already boasts 20 goals and five assists for his club in 2023, which explain why Barcelona look so interested in him.
According to Sport, the Catalan club is closing in on an agreement to sign Roque for 40 million euros on a five-year deal.
