Vitor Roque is in the sights of several European teams. Barcelona and several Premier League teams have shown interest in the Athletico Paranaense striker. Earlier this year it emerged that both the agent and the player’s father met with various teams from Europe. The last being Barcelona who, to this day, seems to have the proriority to take over the striker’s services in a not too distant future.
This caused annoyance on the part of the Athletico Paranaense executives: “There is absolutely nothing, except the annoyance of saying ‘it’s sold’, ‘Barcelona wants it’. Although the striker belongs to Athletico Paranaense, he was acquired at the beginning of last year in exchange for 4.7 million euros for 85% of the token. The remainder belongs to América-MG where the player was formed. Today, Roque has a termination clause of 100 million euros.
