Manchester City presented him with a contract in which they offered him more money than Barça, but that was not enough to change the forward’s desire to opt for his current team, according to the Onze program on Catalan television.
Before the transfer was completed, which was delayed due to the Barça team’s financial situation, there was already talk that Manchester United, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain were also interested in the 18-year-old footballer.

FC Barcelona’s next match will be on Thursday against Osasuna for the Spanish Super Cup, a mini tournament that will be played in Saudi Arabia and in which Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid also compete (who face each other tomorrow).
