Recent winner of the Samba Gold trophy, rewarding the best Brazilian player of the season since 2008, Vinicius Junior, who succeeds Neymar, six-time winner of the trophy and notably winner in the last three editions, sent a message of thanks to the people who voted for him when the trophy was awarded.
Thanking the fans for their votes, Vinicius also indicated that it was a very important trophy for him and that he was honored to be part of the shortlist of winners of the trophy.
“Hello guys, I’m just stopping by to thank you first of all for your affection and also for receiving this very important award for me, which great players have already won. It’s an honor for me to receive it after Neymar, who was the last one to stay for so long to win this award. It is an honor to be on this list, and I am very happy. I have already reserved a special place here for the trophy, and I hope to win it many times. Thanks for the love as always,” he said.
