FK Cukaricki, with Brazilian Vinicius Mello, begins its journey in the 2024/25 season this Saturday (20) when they face Radnicki in the first round of the Serbian League.
Signed from Charlotte FC in MLS, Vini Mello joined the Eastern European team in January this year and was able to complete the preseason with the club.

Vinicius stands out in preseason
In five preparatory friendlies, the forward played in four, starting in three, and scored two goals.
“It was very important to have done the preseason; it’s been three years since I was able to prepare so well for the start of the season. I’m sure this will reflect positively on the field,” revealed the forward.
Ended the season on a high note
Revealed by Internacional, the 21-year-old finished the last season strongly, scoring six goals and providing one assist in the 13 matches he played in the Serbian League. His good performance in the final phase of the championship earned him the award for the league’s best player in April.
“I have very high expectations for this season, given how I ended the last one and because I am now more acclimated to the country and the club. Now the opponents know me a little better; I don’t think there will be special marking or anything like that, but they should be more alert,” he said.
Goals for this season
In the 2023/24 season, FK Cukaricki finished in sixth place, four points behind the last team qualifying for the Conference League. This year, the objective is clear: to secure a spot in a continental competition.
“The goal of our club is to qualify for European competitions. In the last championship, we came close, but we are working hard to make it happen,” he concluded.
The match between FK Cukaricki and Radnicki takes place at 3 PM Brasília time this Saturday (20) at Cukaricki Stadium.
