Vinicius Junior is back to action with Real Madrid. He recovered quicker than expected and got into the field on the second half of the team’s victory against Las Palmas. Brahim Díaz and Joselu scored the goals of the 2-0 win.

The Brazilian was sidelined for 32 days after sustaining a thigh injury versus Celta de Vigo in August. Since then, he lost the first matches of the Brazilian National Team in the South American Qualifiers and also the merengues debut in this season’s Champions League.

The game

Real Madrid dominated the match and scored the first goal during the overtime of the first half. Lucas Vásquez gave a good pass to Brahim Díaz, who only had the trouble of kicking the ball to the net.

In the second half, Brazilian Rodrygo crossed the ball towards Joselu and the striker could not miss it, prompting the team’s advantage to the final score.

Vinicius got to the field a few minutes later, but the match was already settled.

Now, the merengues are in second place of La Liga, behing only Barcelona.
