Vinicius once again demonstrated his greatness of spirit and solidarity with his fellow footballer. By posting on Twitter a message of support for Lukaku “Tamo junto mano!” which means “We are together my brother!” in Portuguese, accompanied by a raised fist emoji as a sign of solidarity, it made it clear that racism has no place in football and sport in general.

This strong and symbolic gesture demonstrates the importance of unity in the fight against racism and injustice in sport. Other players, such as Kylian Mbappé, Juan Sebastián Verón, Achraf Hakimi, André Onana, Thibaut Courtois and Reece James, also showed their solidarity on social networks towards the Belgian player.
