The stadium where the Brazilian Women’s National Team will debut this Thursday (25) in the Paris Olympics, against Nigeria, is one of the newest and most modern in France. It was built in 2015 to host matches for the Euro 2016 and has a capacity of 42,000 people. Its stands are fully covered.
The arena is equipped to utilize rainwater through a complex irrigation system, and its roof is entirely covered with solar panels.
Also known as MatMut Atlantique, the Bordeaux Stadium is where the traditional club of the same name has moved its games. Previously, Bordeaux used the Chaban Delmas as its home, which hosts football and rugby matches and served the Brazilian National Team during their preparation phase in the country.
