The match

The Brazilian team had a great start to the match and finished five times in five minutes.

From a corner kick by Estevão, Rayan headed the ball and opened the scoring for Brazil, in the 28th minute.

From outside the area, Estevão hit a beautiful shot. The ball deflected off number 8 Levy before entering the corner and beating Kutran, in the 38th minute.

Luighi received a pass from Estevão and, with a very intelligent spin, broke away from the defense and shot the ball into the back of the net, in the 44th minute. It was his first goal with the Brazilian National Team.

25 seconds into the second half, Kauã Elias was rewarded and scored Brazil’s fourth goal with a header. The play featured a great cross from Estevão.

From a penalty, Ryan finished into the goalkeeper’s right corner and scored the fifth goal for Brazil, his third in the World Cup in two games, in the sixth minute.

From a corner kick by Estevão, João Souza sent the ball into the middle of the area, where Vitor Reis was, who headed the ball into the back of the net, at 11 minutes into the second half. It was Brazil’s sixth goal.

In the 16th minute, João Souza kicked it strongly from outside the area and increased the Brazilian victory to 7-0.

In a rare counterattack by the Brazilian National Team, Kauã Elias advanced quickly and scored the eighth goal. The ball deflected off the New Caledonia defender and took away a chance for the opposing goalkeeper to save in the 41st minute.

There would still be time for the number 9 to score his third goal in the game, the last of the rout in history, in the 49th minute, taking advantage of Kutran’s rebound after Lorran’s shot.

With the hat-trick, Kauã equaled Rayan in artillery. The duo were top scorers in the South American Under-17 Championship and are looking for goals to help Brazil in the World Cup.

In addition to the Brazilians, Doumbia, from Mali, is the other player who scored three times in the competition.
