Club World Cup 2025
In 2025, many of the stadiums that hosted the Copa América will need to be reconditioned for soccer again, as the first edition of the new FIFA Club World Cup will take place between June 15 and July 13 of that year. This will be the first time this tournament is held on American soil and the 21st edition of the club world championship. Although the tournament will be held in less than a year’s time, the venues, stadiums, and general match schedule for the Club World Cup are yet to be determined.
FIFA World Cup Canada/United States/Mexico 2026
Finally, moving a year ahead in the calendar, the United States will host its third consecutive major tournament with the arrival of the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, which will be co-hosted with Canada and Mexico. This will be the second time the United States hosts the world’s premier national team tournament, having previously done so in 1994. The tournament will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Despite being organized across three countries, the United States will have the most venues, with a total of 11. The World Cup final will be played at MetLife Stadium, located in New Jersey, near New York City.
