After signing for Real Madrid for around 30 million euros in January 2020, the decline in the valuation of Reinier Jesus, a gem from Flamengo in those years, has been going downhill without brakes.
After an unfruitful two-year loan to Borussia Dortmund, another to Girona without much success, and a recent one in the summer of 2023 to Frosinone Calcio, it seems that Reinier will continue to be out of the plans of the Merengue squad and everything points to a new loan after losing importance in the Italian squad, according to Diario Sport.

Discarded by Real Madrid, Reinier Jesus is set to experience his fourth consecutive loan
Despite signing for Real Madrid in 2020, Reinier never made his debut with the first team, seeing scarce minutes with Castilla before leaving for Dortmund, a club where he never established himself.
Right now, Reinier started the season with a renewed air at Frosinone, taking a while to play in his first five matches, being a substitute, but then accumulating seven interrupted starts: Reinier was back and seemed to rediscover his best version at the Italian club.
However, after a muscle injury, the substitutions started to come back again and he began to accumulate fewer and fewer minutes despite having scored two goals and provided two assists.
This past April was the start of his spell at Frosinone, as after accumulating 66 minutes on 04/07 against Genoa, he played just 12 minutes against Napoli, 2 minutes against Torino, and in the recent match against Salernitana he remained on the bench.
His career at Frosinone has gone from more to less and currently everything points to the fact that he will continue to lose importance in the Italian squad towards the end of the season.
At Real Madrid, according to Diario Sport, there is no doubt about the plan to follow with Reinier. Although in mid-year there was talk of the possibility of seeing him return, now the white squad would be convinced to loan him out again, as he still does not fit in the Merengue team’s plans.
There was also talk of interest from Inter Milan, especially in those months when he seemed to have returned to his best version. However, with this end of the season, it is more than possible that if there was ever any interest, it is now more than diluted.
In Diario Sport, they describe Reinier Jesus as a “walking ruin” for Real Madrid, as the white team knows that this investment will be difficult to recover and, with his contract still running until 2026, the white squad is already starting to consider a new loan, taking care of his salary.
