Dorival Júnior submitted his first squad as Brazil’s head coach, ahead of the friendlies in Europe later this month against England and Spain. Among the selected players, there are many familiar faces such as goalkeeper Ederson (Manchester City), Marquinhos (PSG), Casemiro (Manchester United), Raphinha (FC Barcelona), Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior (both from Real Madrid).

But the list also has six debutants in the Seleção. One of them is Sávio, the 19-year-old winger who boasts seven league goals for the surprising Girona title challengers. Savinho not only brings youth but also explosiveness, the ability to play on both wings of the field, and endless energy. That explains why Manchester City already want him for next term.
