Coach Arthur Elias led another training session of the Brazilian National Team in Teresópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio, on Thursday (11). At the CBF training center, he guided the players on specific strategies for the team’s games at the Paris Olympics.
Arthur had the 30 athletes who are at his disposal in this pre-travel training phase to France, scheduled for the 17th. He used the tactical screen, on the sideline, to pass on his instructions and make some adjustments.

From this total of 30, 18 were registered for the Olympics, four will travel as alternates, and the other eight are with the group only for the training in the city.
It is clear that the integration of the National Team becomes increasingly fine-tuned with the sequence of training sessions, and the intense participation of the players during the work stands out, with some talking to each other in order to improve details that fit the objective of the activities.
On the sunny morning in Teresópolis, after the training with the full group, the four goalkeepers, Lorena, Tainá, Luciana and Natascha, did a separate action, called a reaction speed stimulus, with the goalkeeping coaches, Edson Alcantara and Francisco Rodrigues.
Brazil debuts in the Paris Games on July 25th, against Nigeria. Then they face Japan and Spain. The four teams are in Group C of the Olympics. The top two from each group and the two best third-placed teams advance to the quarterfinals.
Group A is formed by France, Canada, New Zealand and Colombia. Group B includes the United States, Germany, Australia and Zambia.
