FC Barcelona sporting director Deco recently made statements regarding the long-awaited arrival of young Brazilian prodigy Vitor Roque. Last July, an agreement was reached between FC Barcelona and Athletico Paranaense for the amount of 30 million euros, with a bonus of 31 million euros, for the transfer of Roque.
The two clubs had agreed that the player would not arrive until next January or during the next summer season. However, in recent times Barcelona have tried to speed up the process of bringing in this promising young striker.

Vitor Roque, only 18 years old, is considered one of the future big stars of the Brazilian attack. He has attracted the attention of top European clubs such as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea. FC Barcelona finally managed to afford his services for a considerable amount.
According to Catalan media, Vitor Roque is currently the best under-20 player in the world. He has scored more club goals than any other player his age in 2023. Although he is still playing in the Brazilian league, the Catalan media and FC Barcelona are eager to see him join the team as soon as possible. However, it has been confirmed that Vitor Roque will only be able to join FC Barcelona next January or the following year, according to the established agreement. Deco, the club’s sporting director, said they wanted to see the player arrive as soon as possible. Unfortunately, fans and the media will have to wait until January 2024 to see Vitor Roque wear the Blaugrana jersey.
