CONMEBOL reveals the venues and schedule for the tournament featuring 16 national teams

The 2024 Copa America continues to take shape just over six months before its kickoff. While we wait for the draw that will define the four groups on Thursday, CONMEBOL has officially announced the 14 host cities where the 16 teams will compete from June 20 to July 14 next year.

The 14 host cities for the 2024 Copa America

  • Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas (Nevada), 65,000 spectators (3 matches: 2 group stage and 1 quarter-final)
  • AT&T Stadium, Arlington (Texas), 80,000 spectators (3 matches: 2 group stage and 1 quarter-final)
  • Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, North Carolina, 74,000 spectators (2 matches: 1 semi-final and third-place)
  • Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas City (Kansas), 18,500 spectators (1 match: group stage)
  • GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri, 79,500 spectators (2 group stage matches)
  • Exploria Stadium, Orlando (Florida), 25,500 spectators (2 group stage matches)
  • Hard Rock Stadium, Miami (Florida), 75,540 spectators (3 matches: 2 group stage and final)
  • Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara (California), 68,500 spectators (2 group stage matches)
  • Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta (Georgia), 71,000 spectators (2 group stage matches)
  • MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford (New Jersey), 82,500 spectators (3 matches: 2 group stage and one semi-final)

It was previously announced that the inaugural match will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta, while the grand final will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

CONMEBOL confirmed that two groups will play in the West and Central United States, and two groups in the East and Central. The quarter-finals will be played in the West and Central, while the semi-final and final will take place in the East.

CONMBEBOL also revealed that AT&T Stadium in Arlington (Texas), NRG Stadium in Houston (Texas), State Farm in Glendale (Arizona), and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (Nevada) will host the quarter-finals.

The semi-finals, meanwhile, will be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford (New Jersey) and Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte (North Carolina).

Tournament Schedule

  • Group stage: June 20 to July 2
  • Quarter-finals: July 4 to 6
  • Semi-finals: July 9 and 10
  • Third-place match: July 13
  • Final: July 14

The 2024 Copa America in the United States will feature the ten CONMEBOL teams plus six from CONCACAF. The United States, Jamaica, Mexico, and Panama are already qualified, while the remaining two will emerge from two matches to be played in March (Canada vs. Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica vs. Honduras).
