Although there is still little less than a month for the start of the Brasileirão, the 2024 season of Brazilian football has already kicked off with state championships, and the fans have started to show their enthusiasm for the return of the activity.

Espião Estatístico has so far kept track of attendance numbers for each match this year and has published which of them have been, up to now, the 10 matches with the highest attendance in the stadium.

As expected, the legendary Maracanã was the venue with the most spectators at the moment. Six matches on the list were for the Campeonato Carioca, but one of them was played at Mangueirão.

Outside Rio de Janeiro, the match with the most spectators was the Paulista derby between São Paulo and Palmeiras at Morumbi, while the Porto Alegre rivlarly between Internacional and Grêmio also made it to the top 10.
