Indeed, coach Jorge Jesus made a change which did not please Brazilian striker Michael, who was replaced at half-time. Dissatisfied, the player stormed onto the bench, violently throwing a water bottle to the ground. A reaction which was not at all appreciated by the Portuguese coach.
The latter then sharply reframed the player, increasing the tension on the bench. A member of staff had to physically intervene between the two men to avoid scandal.
