A standout at Estrela Amadora in the top tier of Portuguese football in the current season, forward Ronald has been announced as the newest reinforcement for Swansea City, a team currently competing in the Championship (the second division of the English Championship).

The 22-year-old player has played 20 matches in the 2023/2024 season, scoring one goal and providing two assists. With the Portuguese club, the player has accumulated 55 games, six goals, and four assists, being a key player in the team’s promotion campaign in 2022/2023.

Having played for Grêmio Anápolis, Atlético-GO, and Guarani, the athlete had 77 appearances in Brazil before moving to Europe. The player even received interest from Corinthians in the current transfer window, but the deal was not finalized.

Currently, Swansea is in 16th place in the table, with 33 points in 28 games. The Brazilian’s contract with the club is valid until 2027, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.
