Despite interest from Portuguese giant Porto have erupted, Chelsea does not seem to have changed it’s mind towards Andrey Santos. As of now, the Brazilian midfielder is part of the club’s preseason and will be given a chance by coach Mauricio Pochettino in order to prove his value.
Sources have told Sambafoot that Porto’s interest is just an speculation, as Chelsea or Andrey’s representatives have not received anything. There’s no intention of having these kinds of conversations as of now. Other clubs have made official approaches, but they were also denied.

The future
Andrey was bought by Chelsea from Vasco da Gama in a sum of 12,5 million euros, but did not receive his British work permit and could not join the squad during the 2022-2023 season. So he came back to Brazil on loan, where he got his first call-up to the senior team of the country and also took part on the U20 World Cup squad.
The player still needs the work permit to be available this season, but reports from Daily Mail indicate that he has sorted all the documentation and necessary points in the last months, so it is only a matter of time until he receives the official approval.
