Next Saturday (6), the Brazilian National Team will debut in the ninth edition of the SheBelieves Cup. This will be the fourth time that Brazil participates in the competition, which has been held annually since 2016 in the United States. The competition
The SheBelieves Cup is a women’s soccer tournament, which has been held annually in the United States since 2016. Four teams participate, with one of them being the host team. The other three teams are invited.
In 2024, the competition begins directly in the semifinals (Brazil vs. Canada, United States vs. Japan). The two winning teams from each match advance to the final, while the defeated teams compete for third and fourth place. The final matches will be held on the 9th.

Brazil’s participation
The Brazilian National Team is arriving for its fourth participation in the SheBelieves Cup. In the ninth edition of the tournament, Brazil will face Canada in its first game. The match will take place on Saturday (6) at 4:00 pm (Brasília time).
The Yellow Jersey’s first participation took place in 2019, and the team finished in fourth place, behind England (1st), United States (2nd), and Japan (3rd).
In 2021, the Brazilian National Team was invited for the second time. On that occasion, it was the runner-up. The first place went to the host team (USA), the third place to Canada, and the fourth to Argentina.
Brazil’s most recent participation was in 2023 when it achieved its second best campaign by finishing in third place. The United States (1st) and Japan (2nd) also stood on the podium. Canada finished in fourth place.
Brazilian preparation
Seeking the unprecedented title, the Brazilian National Team is already concentrated in Atlanta (USA) and began the preparation last Monday (1). Coach Arthur Elias has three more days of training to adjust the final details for the debut, which takes place on Saturday (6) at 4:30 pm (Brasília time) against Canada at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
