Tricolor got an easy victory with goals coming from Pablo, Vitor Bueno, Arboleda, Brenner and Deza with Peruvian’s team only goal. São Paulo were the only team to lose and concede a goal against Binacional.
In the first half, São Paulo were not convincing and were far from fulfilling the expectation of crushing Binacional, at Morumbi.
Even after scoring seven minutes into the game with an outside effort from Vitor Bueno, it took the home side close to 30 minutes to double their lead, after their dominance and chances created.
In the 35th minute, tricolor finally got their double after constant pressure on their opponent’s goal area, with the goal coming from Brenner. However, in the 40th minute, Jean Deza reduced the deficit for Binacional in incredible fashion, displacing Tiago Volpi to the wrong direction.
In the second half, Pablo extended the home team’s advantage just five minutes into the second period. Shortly after, Arboleda took advantage of a rebound in the area to extend his side advances even further. With the victory secured, Fernando Diniz made substitutions and brought in Rodrigo Nestor, Paulinho Bóia and Tréllez also Helinho and Toró.
Pablo Filipe Teixeira wasn’t done for the day and in the 85th minute; he put in the fifth goal for his side. ending the game 5-1.
