“It’s a magical moment, I prepared a lot for this. Working at São Paulo is a dream come true, especially in such an important year, returning to the Libertadores. The club comes from a victorious season, with the unprecedented conquest of the Copa do Brasil, and has a very qualified squad. For me, it is a personal and professional achievement,” said Carpini.

Alongside the head coach, São Paulo welcomes assistant coach Estephano Djian and fitness coach Caio Gilli.

Under Carpini’s leadership at Água Santa and Juventude in 2023, he achieved notable campaigns before joining Tricolor: with the Diadema-based club, he was the state runner-up. Meanwhile, with the Rio Grande do Sul team, he lifted them from the relegation zone of the Brazilian Serie B to promotion to the top tier, securing second place overall.
