Jorge Sampaoli made his debut yesterday as manager of Flamengo with a solid 2-0 victory in the Copa Libertadores against Ñublense. The the goals scored by Pedro early on gave a cloak of tranquility to the team that had not been reaping good results. They tried to win four titles this year and lost them all.
But the Argentine coach sees some points to improve in the team, so his next target in the transfer market would already be set: left-back Alex Telles, currently on loan in Sevilla from Manchester United. The English team would not look badly on a new loan opportunity for the Brazilian player since, to date, he is not in the first team’s plans, according to the Torcedores site.

As of today, Sampaoli has two left-backs in his team, Ayrton Lucas and Filipe Luís. For his debut, the Argentine coach opted for the former, although according to reports, neither of them would satisfy him, which is why he would try to achieve a loan of the Manchester United player.
Telles has alternated ownership with Marcos Acuña on the left side, although he has played several games neither of the two South Americans has appropriated the position definitively. The Brazilian has played 29 games and has only given three assists so far this season.
