While Neymar’s future in the Brazilian national team is a hot topic in his country, Ronaldinho Gaúcho made it clear that, for him, the Al Hilal star still has many chapters to write with the Seleção.
“For me, he is still the best,” Dinho told Roger Flores during the charity match ‘Futebol Solidário’ on Sunday, in an interview that aired Monday on Boleiragem.

“He will recover. He is a very different player. In my opinion, he still is and can contribute a lot with the experience he has, with everything he has. He still has a lot to offer,” added the former World Cup champion with the Seleção in Korea-Japan 2002.

In October 2023, Ney picked up an ACL injury in his left knee during a World Cup qualifier against Uruguay. The injury will keep him out of this year’s Copa America in the United States, and many wonder if he will ever play a prominent role with the national team again.
At 31 and in Saudi Arabia, some believe that his time with the Canarinha is over. Ronaldinho, however, completely disagrees.
Ronaldinho predicts Ballon d’Or for Vinicius Junior
Besides the situation of the former Santos star, Dinho addressed the moment of Vinicius Junior, who is seen as one of the candidates for the 2024 Ballon d’Or due to his fantastic form at Real Madrid. A winner of the award in 2005, the former Barcelona and Milan star, among others, believes that sooner or later, his compatriot will also win the prize.
“He has everything to achieve it, achieving wonderful things. Vinicius, besides being a great friend, is a great talent. Very young. If not this year, it will be the next,” Ronaldinho said.
