Much has been said in recent weeks about some of the stars who would have already regretted taking the risk of accepting the offer of exotic Saudi football and, in addition to names like Jordan Henderson or Karim Benzema, it also began to sound strongly that of Roberto Firmino who, allegedly, wanted to leave Al-Ahli to return to Europe or Brazil.

Roberto Firmino will not leave Al-Ahli in January
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, this information is very far from reality. Neither the club nor the player would have any intention of separating their paths in the January transfer window, so his possible departure from the club in the first half of 2024 would be completely ruled out.
His entourage would have been in charge of silencing these rumors of Firmino’s possible discomfort in Arabia, ensuring that the footballer will stay at Al-Ahli to honor his contract.
In Saudi football, Firmino still has not found himself in a better version, since so far this season the Brazilian has played 19 games in which he has scored three goals and distributed two assists.
Despite this, the footballer’s intention is to reverse this bad situation by staying at the club, at least, until the summer of this year, a date on which the rumor of a possible departure could be reopened, since the only thing that is ruled out is its possible sale in this January window. Time will tell.
